Bobby the actor, director and teacher........

Bobby Farquhar has worked professionally in the Arts industry for over 30 years. Beginning his life as a professional ballet dancer, Bobby has been an actor, producer and director in theatre, film and television.

Bobby laughs (sadly) at the natural process of aging. A key tool for an actor is the 'headshot' and all actors have drummed into us by our mentors that they 'must be up to date at all times!'  The penalty you pay for this after thirty years is that you have so many shots you can readily see the ageing process (especially if you don't use botox!) The shots on this page however prove that Bobby was once 'bold' and even 'beautiful'. The one asset that has remained the same is the long hair (these days usually in a pony tail to make it look more!)

But there's more!

Bobby prepares for karate

The balance of Bobby's time in the arts is spent teaching a marshall art called Kempo Karate. He has received many awards both as a teacher and as an athlete.

Bobby has taught Australian Defence Force Academy students and officers from the Navy, Airforce, Army and SAS.

From time to time Bobby has taught in and taken groups to China.
